Delete Your Account
The Faith Made app · Effective August 7, 2026
You can ask us to delete your Faith Made account and the data tied to it at any time. There is no charge, and you do not need an active membership to make the request.
How to request deletion
- If you have an active membership, cancel it first at portal.thefaithmade.com. This takes a moment and needs no approval from us. See the note below for why this step comes first.
- Email support@thefaithmade.com with the subject line Delete my Faith Made App account.
- In the message, include the email address you use to sign in to the app, so we can find the right account.
- We reply to confirm it is really you, then delete the account. Requests are completed within 30 days, and usually within a few business days.
Why cancelling comes first
Your membership is billed against your account. If we deleted the account while the membership was still running, you would be left with a live subscription and nothing behind it, which causes failed charges, bank disputes, and payments you can no longer see or stop from inside the app. Cancelling first avoids all of that.
You do not have to do both steps yourself. If you would rather handle it in one go, email us and say you want the membership cancelled as well, and we will cancel it and then delete the account for you. Either way, no one is refused deletion for having a subscription.
What is deleted, and what is kept

| Reading progress, streaks, and badges | Deleted. Anything stored only on your phone is removed when you uninstall the app. |
| Order and payment records | Kept. We are required to retain purchase and tax records, which are held by our store and payment providers, not in the app. These are retained for up to 7 years to meet accounting and tax obligations. |
| Backups | Deleted data can persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days, after which the backups expire and it is gone. |
Deleting some data without deleting your account
If you only want specific items removed, for example a single Fellowship post or your profile photo, email the same address and tell us what to remove. Your account stays active.
